I've not been reading due to pain and what's now know very dry eyes, I've been dependant on audiobooks for the past few years. One book I've enjoyed and listened to many times is Lord of Scoundrels, by Loretta Chase. Earlier today I was trying to find out when some of her other books would be available on audio. I found Audio Gals,
http://www.audiogals.net. They have a Hall of Fame which included Lord of Scoundrels, so I bought The Madness of Lord Ian Mackensie, j Ashley, also in the HOF!
What a disappointment! Narration is flat, however not the most talented actor, including Alan Rickman, could bring life to a book devoid of plot, character or dialogue. After six chapters I couldn't force myself to listen to another word.
So beware of Audio Gals recommendations. Good thing Audible allows full refunds.
