A final dip

Suitcase packed, airplane snack prepped. Now enjoying a short swim and lounge by the pool. (in the shade)
Mentally  prepping for the ordeal of airports, security buffoonery, and five hours in a long metal tube at 30,000 feet. My mind takes me to the scene in Clouds of Witness, where Lord Peter and Bunter fly in comfort on the Aeroplane Victoria from Paris. Those days are long gone.

i am going home to a very, very cold Canada. Dear brother is bringing all the warm things for me to bundle up in.
My sunburned face is much less swollens, still a bit red, hopes for light bronzed tan are for naught, as I'm either pale white or red.

Dental work is all done thank goodness, I had a hard time coping with what seemed to be endless episodes of people with their hands in my mouth. I had to wear eyeshades and listen to audiobooks to distract my mind from it all. The end result is marvellous and I'm confident the extra work I had done, three extra crowns on teeth with fillings, will keep may mouth in good health.
