Don't fix it if it isn't broken, is so true. The saga that started months ago with my work Blackberry being 'upgraded', has finally ended. Many hours of my life have been lost forever. I am now back to the older model Blackberry, sadly not the one that wasn't broken, nor do I have my original phone number, email address. The later is a bit of nonsense that pisses me off. Clerical staff who work in the office have a work email addy that includes their name. We nurses, yes the ones that actually earn the money for the company, get a number/letter combo.
Three round trips to office - 100 km = 1 hour each time, not paid, partial payment of km.
At least 2 hours of talking to various tech 'support' folks.
Three 'tickets' for repair. This latter is a bit of a joke as I have discovered that repair consists of two clerks messing about with it and saying it's ok. They refused to reload the software, BB support folks suggested this was needed.
Untold number of people have been advised of the new numbers, many of whom have had difficulties getting hold of me.
ETA: latest nonsense, 'can you please bring the box for the useless blackberry we changed for no particular reason than to waste your time and energy, back to the office?"
