We just had a good heavy rain. Will take quite a bit more to fill the river, but the plants are now watered. Due to total lack of energy, I've not been caring for my garden at all. Depressing as I really love gardening. Had a brief spurt of energy yesterday and tidied the living room. Laundry has been caught up. Kitchen is a constant battle. Living on grilled pastrami, swiss cheese, and rye sandwiches.
Had another cig smoke exposure at work. After 15 mins in the house where I did all the stuff that pt needed privacy for, I excused myself to a garden chair outdoors. Idiot patient proceeded to follow me out and light a cig! Of course the smoke wafted my way, felt a bit miffed and annoyed that I had to point out to the jerk that this was not a good thing. Took my steroid nasal spray but the damage had been done, headache and congestion this am. weeps a bit Oh well, I see the ENT doc on the 17th.
Had two lots of people come to see the house yesterday, there are two more who are supposed to be coming today. Not keen on the family with two kids, a dog and numerous cats. Reading LJ has brought to my attention the misery which comes from cats being miffed and pissing all over the place. Other couple sound good. They have two dogs who Sophie and Bram found tolerable.
Interesting article on crafting. I'm trying to find the government department that is responsible for the dams or 'water control structures' on my river. Damage to one has aggravated the low water issues that come each summer. I'm on my second go round with this. Started with the provincial department, have just had a fun chat with a guy from the federal government. I explained to him that they should take themselves off to a room and sort it. Don't care who loses the argument as long as someone does something.
Playing suduko and listening to audio book, can't focus to read.
