ouch!
So. something post-worthy i suppose....
my friggin ear. it's infected. or at least i think it is.... the story goes-
friday: my ear hurts, im thinking it's my earring (one of the cartilage ones that i have on my right ear) i slept on it wrong or something. soooo all day during work it is throbbing. im thinking i'll take out my earring when i get home and it will be better.
annie takes it out and it hurts like friggin hell. but im still thinking it will get better.
saturday: i wake up... it hurts still. it's 7:45 am. way too early on a saturday morning to be up. fuck. i wait it out. search up what could be wrong online. keloids? infections? i dont know. so i take a trip to brooks and get some cortisone cream. it kinda helps. annie wakes up. i whine. it still hurts. it is swollen so much that it is purple. yuck! pretty nasty so i freak out. ponder the idea of going to the walk in clinic in dover to get it looked at. annie and i both decide that it is probly an infection and not a keloid forming. anyhow. i try and let it not bother me...but yea. that doesnt work. of course. i try and take a nap...but the traffic out out on central ave. keeps me up. and im not really tired anyhow- it's just that i want to forget the pain and the third ear im seeming to grow. finally i decide that im going to poke it with a needle. i get everything set... poke at it. it doesnt hurt... oddly enough, then squeeze this icky pus out of it.... but it doesnt even seem to go down. UGH. annoying and now it hurts again. of course. i try and forget.....
well, now it still looks like i have a third ear or perhaps a second head growing from where i used to be pierced. im stiking it out though. going to make an apt. at health services for monday to try and get someone to actually get it taken care of. yuck. i hate it when i feel like i should be a poster child for a medical journal with some abnormal growth... at least it doesnt throb right now. im trying to treat it with a little tequila and beer.

for more exciting news. annie made veggie lasagna tonight. it was tastier than ever! yum yum yum. :) we went to see memoirs of a geisha last night. it was beautiful. and tonight it's Signs on tv.
