i am in the loneliest states in america. we drove out of ohio, through indiana, and now we're in illinois, about to cross the mississippi into iowa. yeah, it's bad enough to get me listening to bright eyes again for the fist time on the trip since the first day. it's that miserable. these states just have an atmosphere that is just... lonely? sad? these states are just plain apathetic..
the road just never ends. i can look out the window and see hundreds of miles in front of me just all straight. and there's no ending. we've driven 1500 miles now. so far it's been 8 hours today, and we got a few to go. this is how it's gonna be for the next two days too. it's a lonely road to montana.
