Hunger Site
Heyo. For anyone who is on the internet often, I have a little request. Kelly (I think? Or maybe Kristen...) posted this URL a while back... go there and click at least just this once?

It's for a website whose ad sponsors pay them per click on a button (you don't have to click on sponsors), and the money goes to help pay for food for efforts to end world hunger. It's free, you can do it once a day (presumably per IP address, although I'm not sure).
They also have a store full of many interesting little items whose sale contributes more food. There are attached sites for Breast Cancer (to fund mammograms), Child Health, Literacy, Rainforest Conservation, and Animal Rescue, each with access to the same store. This is where I got my cultivate peace t-shirt.
Anyway, it doesn't take very long to click. I do it almost everyday, during that lull after checking LJ and email when I have no good reason to be on the internet. So in that gap between web comics... go click?
No, I haven't taken the time to closely review the mechanisms for aid, although I did look at how the clicks translate into money and what part of that goes to the aid, rather than to upkeeping the site, and that checks out. Either way, it's not hurting me to do so, right?
