Summary: Giles is a ROG, Xander is his student. Giles dies in battle, and he’s worried there might be witnesses.
Giles came back with a gasp and saw Xander smiling down at him. The younger Immortal offered him a hand up, which Rupert gratefully took. He winced in pain as he got up; the hole the demon had torn in his side still not healed.
“Did you manage to keep the slayers away?” he asked Xander as he picked up his fallen sword and pulled his coat closed to cover his bloody and torn shirt. Xander nodded his head.
“They think you were just unconscious. I sent them off chasing Bride of Swamp Thing.”
“Thank heavens. I hate starting over.”

Summary: In nineteenth century Spain Giles, Methos and Byron are having an argument.
Methos stared at Rupert, incredulous.
“Why should I? Byron brought the bloody thing home!”
“I assumed you’d have some experience. I’m a chief’s son, I haven’t a clue,” Rupert replied.
“I had slaves.”
“Well, don’t look at me, gentlemen. Lord Byron would never sully himself with such a task,” Byron interjected.
“You didn’t say that last night,” Methos said with a suggestive leer. Byron just laughed. He could be such an ass sometimes. Resigned, Rupert picked up the halter.
Ten minutes later, Rupert was lying in a heap, clutching his aching crotch and the goat was merrily eating Byron’s hat.
