The personnel at Council Headquarters all managed to find urgent business elsewhere when the senior Slayer discovered the source of her little sister’s income. Except, of course, for Faith, Xander, and Willow, who sat back (at a safe distance) and passed the popcorn.

“Dawn, what were you thinking? You’re supposed to be the Council’s liason to the wizarding community. That means staying respectable! Instead, I find out- from Giles of all people-that you’ve partnered with those lunatic twins to sell sexually explicit daydreams!”

“Vice sells,” Dawn shrugged. “Besides, it’s not like I’m running a whorehouse, so I don’t see what the problem is.”

“The problem is you getting involved in the wizarding sex trade with Fred and George Weasley!”

“Did that sound dirty to anyone else?” Willow snickered. Two heads nodded.

“If she’s blowing a gasket over the concept,” Faith whispered , “what’s she going to do when she finds out that she has a starring role in one of those daydream potions?”

Xander visibly paled.

“Tell me you didn’t know about this already, Faith.”

“Know? Hell, I test drove some of those things! They were awesome! B needs to stop being a priss. A daydream might do her good.”

Listening to the torrent of profanity coming from the girl who was currently tied up in his brig- all right, the small room on his yacht he’d hastily converted into a brig- Jack couldn’t help but grin. The Pirate King would have washed her several times great-grandaughter’s mouth out with soap if she could hear this. Perhaps that could still be arranged. It would be amusing to see- assuming Elizabeth didn’t decide this was somehow his fault.

“Tsk, tsk. Patience is a virtue, love. Considering I found you engaged in what could be termed piracy, it seems to me you should be grateful I didn’t make you walk the plank.”

The brunette cursed and redoubled her efforts to rip her bonds off either herself or the wall.

“That won’t work, you know. Those aren’t just metal and leather, dearie. You didn’t think I’d trust normal means to keep a Slayer from poking her nose where it oughtn’t be, did you now?”

Faith glared. So help her, she was going to get even with Jack Sparrow if it was the last thing she did.

Jack smirked. Rum was all well and good, but toying with Turners was his favorite vice.
