A/N2: This concludes the series. I'm planning on writing a sequel to flesh out things that were mentioned in this series, and it will be longer. However, I've got a bunch of WIP so don't look for it to appear anytime soon.
Note: I've only read through book 5 - Death Masks. This now officially takes place after that book. Please don't mention things that happen in later books, I'd like to be surprised when I read them. Plus, it means there may be contradictions to what was written later in the books.
Sword? What Sword?
Buffy winced as Harry looked up at her with suspicion when she entered his office. Really, she hated to bother him with this, but after Michael’s revelation, she had no choice in the matter. This relationship between the Knights and the Watchers had to work, and in order to do that; she had to jump through all of the necessary hoops. If that meant she had to appeal to Harry one more time, then that’s what she’d do.
“Is there something you need, Miss Summers?” He asked in a gravelly voice.
“Yeah, I hate to ask another favor of you - “
”You paid me the last time,” he pointed out.
“I know, but this time it’s kind of a favor, unless you want me to pay you,” she hastily added.
He sighed. “Let me hear it first, and I’ll let you know.”
“Just, whenever you find someone to give that fancy sword to, could you give me a call and set up a meeting for me?” She asked in a wheedling tone.
His eyes glanced up to meet hers and then quickly fell away. “What sword?”
“The one Michael said you had.”
Harry shook his head and said, “Yeah, sure.”
