Danny grunted as he answered his cell. "What the fuck, Mac? It's 4 am! I just got off 2 hours ago."
Mac was none to happy either. "If you want your job to continue meet me in Central Park, we got a strange one."
Danny sighed and said sarcastically,"Oh gee, we're in NY Mac, 'strange' is nothing new."
"Just come and give us a little help please." Mac uttered and ended the call.
The body was a twisted heap of a young woman next to a pile of dust. The woman's throat was torn out. The whole team was there surveying the scene. The wooden stake in the woman's hand was an anomaly.
"What is this shit?" Danny said to the team.
A blond woman walked up to them and said, "She was a slayer, but the vampire got the better of her. She didn't make it. She's dead."
"No shit!" Mac hissed. "And what did you say? Vamp as in vampire, lady are you sure you're not loony?"
"She's not sack O hammers mate." A fellow with a thick British accent, do the lady a small favor and just listen to us.
"This ought to be good." Said Danny.
