Faith and Teyla were watching Ronan and Sheppard sparring. Sheppard was getting his arse handed to him but was well aware of the eyes that were following his movements. A few seconds later, Ronon had him on the floor with the wooden staff pointed at his heart.
“You next?” Ronon asked Faith and she shrugged.
“Might as well, but how about we up the ante?” she answered as she stood, shrugging off her jacket.
“What do you have in mind Faith?” Sheppard asked and watched as a feral grin took over her face.
“Well, staffs are good for warming up, but how about moving onto my favorite pretties?”
She picked up her sword that she had brought in for Teyla’s training session earlier and offered it to Ronon before pulling her dagger out.
“You gonna fight with that?” Ronon nodded towards the dagger. Although it was a fine looking dagger, it had no where near the reach of the sword that she had given him.
“Til first blood?” Faith asked smirking. She knew that he was currently underestimating her. She had watched him often enough to know how he fought, something he had no clue about with her.
“You’re on.”

As part of the incorporation of Slayers and Scoobies into the SGC, there were several getting to know you type of meetings. The first one basically had a rundown as to who everyone was and what their speciality was.
There had been something mentioned by Dr Daniel Jackson which had intrigued Giles. The two of them had expressed interesting in sharing their resources in different languages which had enabled Giles to spend some alone time with Daniel. Not that he was interested in him; he just didn’t think that Daniel would like to be telling everyone.
“Dr Jackson,” Giles started.
“Daniel,” he corrected.
“Fine, Daniel. In your brief summary earlier, you mentioned a young woman who became the reason behind your actions…”
“Sha’re. She… she was the beloved daughter of the tribe’s chief; favorite amongst all of their people. I was married to her for a year before she was taken by Apophis. I swore to her people that I would find her again.”
“And you did?”
“Yes, but not before she had been chosen as a host. She became a Gou’ald, something that her people previously would have celebrated… but it was to the wrong ‘god’. It wasn’t Ra.”

Dawn was sitting idly on the edge of Abby’s computer desk. The Forensic Scientist was currently asking for her advise on what she should wear to the newly opened bar which was apparently very friendly towards those who would call themselves Goth’s, vampires and other creatures of the night. Abby spun around, showing Dawn the combination of short skirt, fishnet stockings, knee high boots and corset.
“So what do you think?”
“It’s missing something… do you have a choker or collar or something?”
“Oh, I know.” She rifled through her bag and pulled out her favorite studded choker.
“That’s perfect.”

Tony watched in envy as one of the new girls had things explained to her carefully, anytime she asked questions, they were always answered enthusiastically. He couldn’t understand how differently Abby treated them sometimes. She always answered the way that Gibbs expected when it was one of their team but have someone new in the lab and it was completely different.
The other new girl, Buffy, slid up next to him quietly. The way she did that made him think of Gibbs and Ziva, they were the only other people who he knew could move that quietly.
“Jealous?” she said quietly.
“No! Well… just a little.”
“Don’t be. Dawnie’s always everyone’s favorite. She gets on with all… she looks cute and defenceless but don’t let it fool you.”
They watched for a while before Buffy chuckled. Tony turned to look at her.
“Just had a thought… Abby’s not going to be this happy for long.”
“Oh?”
“Well, if Dawnie is always the favorite, how long do you think she’d be happy when she notices that she’s no longer Gibbs’ girl?”
“Hmm, I wonder if I can convince McGee to set camera’s up in here. Could make some money…” he pondered.
