"why are we suddenly talking about Solipsism and other minds?"

"I don't know...because you were pretending to be my brain?"

- A little pre-bedtime banter with S. That cracked me up lol.

First things first: A little nugget of boring philo crap I feel obliged to share with the world.

"
  1. Nothing exists;
  2. Even if something exists, nothing can be known about it; and
  3. Even if something could be known about it, knowledge about it can't be communicated to others."
- Gorgias on Solipsism.

Woah. Kinda puts doing my stupid tutorial essay into a whole new perspective.

Anyhoo, moving on to more undeniably-existing topics, I am currently slogging through my tutorial essay. I'm 300 words in and so far I can't decide if I have written the introduction, the main point or the conclusion. ME = FTW.

I need need need to finish this tomorrow, because there are more pressing matters at hand. LIKE, you guess it, Disser-friggin-tation. Never before in the history of mankind has someone been more screwed for their dissertation.  NEVER. At least now I am ever more certain, if I was not already before, that I will never ever succeed at being an academic. Good Lord, the sheer amount of research going into a book! Well, if writing a book did not entail poring over huge dusty volumes and reading a gabazillion other relevant books in order to reference some fancy piece of work to make your material seem more legit; then maybe yeah, I could do with writing some of my crackpot theories down. But goodness, having the resolve and focus to research one particular topic for years on end? I'm sorry, mate, no can do. Anyway, I procrastinated in gettin down to work, and having a snowball fight downstairs with housemates sure didn't help matters. Yes, you heard right, biiiatch, Snow. In Central London. In October.

On a completely random train of thought -

uhmm, I don't if anyone knows this but Willemijn Verkaik? FAWESOME. And Elisabeth the musical, or should I say das musikal? FAWESOME.

It isn't Pia Douwves (not like you care) but this video is RAWESOME! Wenn Ich Tanzen Will is an intense duet that is guaranteed to send chills down your spine (and a little cringing at the part where the guy walks very awkardly towards her). But Willemijn as Elisabeth is simply too amazing and I simply must go find an audio of that!

And on another completely random note. Oh my gawd I found [title of show] too late. The cast recording is really top notch. FAWESOME. Pity it is closing.

And Imagine This have been booked. Imagine That.
