[[Tea always sounds good, so when she's greeted and invited up for tea, Theta cheerily turns and heads towards the porch to have some. She frowns when she smells the blood, though, and looks sceptically at the tea set.]]
You're insightful. Good! At least everyone in this town isn't as stupid as they look~
... And please, call me Len.
*She gestures over to the chair with her free hand. It seems like despite the fact that Theta has caught onto what the two really would be drinking she still wants Theta to join her.*
[[She helps herself and manages to, by luck, pick one made with mostly kidney. She seems quite pleased with it, actually.]]
My ideas on society are too progressive for my own world, and I'm starting to think that they're ahead of even the more open people here. Generally speaking. I've managed to find a few similar minds.
Mm, the need for attachments is present in me, yes, but the manner of attachments I make and for what reasons are different. But judge me by that if you like, it's an aspect I have so far preferred to keep.
[[Lately, though? She's been wishing she hadn't. This may or may not be readable on her face.]]
*Len at least senses that Theta may or may not be totally convinced in what she's saying. This makes Len giggle a bit.*
Such attachments are meaningless and they only hold you back but... by all means, I won't stop you from doing so. Knowing others weaknesses is a trump card I'll never refuse to keep.
[[She takes another sip of her 'tea' and sighs softly.]]
Before I came here, I'd never met others like myself. I only had 'attachment' to my family and my Queen. I don't think there were others like me in my world, and...sometimes I wonder if meeting them was good or bad.
That doesn't look like tea, miss...?

[[She limps over to the chair, leaning heavily on the cane. Though she doesn't take a teacup, she doesn't seem to be bothered by it, either.]]

At least you know how to mind your manners.

[[She's eyeing those pastries.]]

[[She glances down at the 'tea' again and smiles, helping herself to a cup. Though she sips at it very, very slowly, she really is drinking it.]]
Admittedly I can't imagine many humans who would appreciate your taste in drink. It's a bit strong for me, but I don't consider it unpleasant.

*She takes another sip without hesitation.*
It's better to drink it slowly anyway... to savor the taste.
