body and appearance
Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Game sprites aren't the most reliable thing in the world (especially not Ryukishi's) but the Alchemist sprites seem to give her a pretty average height. She's quite tiny when compared to Battler and George, but that's justified- what's with how tall the men of the Ushiromiya family are, and Battler in particular is a pretty huge guy, so it makes sense for him to practically tower over her. Generally, I see Jessica as a bit on the short side, but it's all a matter of comparison- Japanese women are generally about 5'2, so there's that... she's got pretty long legs, too? Anyway, since we weren't really given any proper info on the character's actual heights and I suck at measurements, I have no idea how to put her height in numbers ;;
Build-wise, she seems to pretty thin- in the anime she's got a bit more of a butt and slightly wider hips than she does in the Alchemist sprite (see link above), it the mangas it depends on who's drawing her, while she doesn't have them at all in the original VN (but once again, these are Ryukishi's sprites...), though I think that, being a rich girl who probably doesn't work out much or anything, having some weight on the butt or belly would make sense... but everybody has a perfect body in fiction anyway. Unless the plot calls for otherwise.
How old is she?
Eighteen or nineteen, though personality-wise she doesn't really act much like an adult; she's mentally more or less a teenage girl. Battler mentioned that they're the same age, but I always imagined that Battler is 19- though it could be just because Jessica didn't have her birthday yet, as of their time (October 1986).
Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
She carries herself pretty well- she does slouch occasionally, but her walk is the sort that shows a lot of self-confidence while it's very relaxed and laid-back at the same time.
How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
She was born with weak bronchi and is an asthmatic, and often has attacks, especially when in stressful situations or when she gets emotional- according to George, it has been getting worse in recent years. EP7 reveals that she occasionally fakes her attacks and exaggerates it to get her out of unpleasant situations, though it's doubtful that it's all faked- I mean, she has actual medicine and everything :|
How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
She's on the fliud, graceful side, definitely- though she has moments of clumsiness. See her posture above.
