Today, T & I went to Disney Sea~! It was actually really fun. We just walked around the park the whole day, but the weather was actually really nice. It was sunny, but not that humid, and it didn't rain (omg)!
We got some sweet free tickets from a friend's stockholder father. So all we had to pay for was transportation and the food we ate there. Which, by the way, was about the same price as normal food in Japan (which is to say, an arm and a leg, but still). I'm glad we decided to do it today and not yesterday, because it rained then. w
But yeah, we just woke up slowly and went over there about lunchtime. No rush or anything. And we were there for about 4 or 5 hours. We actually managed to see pretty much the whole park in that time. It's Japan, so it's not like it's so huge that it's impossible or anything. especially with us being used to all the walking one does in Japan normally. It was a really nice place, just like all the Disneys. The faux-European villa thing they had was really cute because it was right on the water, and you had a good view of it almost everywhere in the park. We didn't watch any shows, but we did ride the Tower of Terror, a merry-go-round, and the little train, even if it was only for one stop. (They made everyone get off after one. :/)
We chose Disney Sea because it's rumored to be the more couple-friendly attraction of the 2. But for my part, I couldn't identify anything that specifically catered to couples, really. I mean, they had Italian-style gondolas, but you had to go with a bunch of other people. Also, by the time we got there, they were saying they were closed for some kinda maintenance. And the line was really long.
But it was really fun. Good way to spend what is effectively my last day in Japan. (I leave Thursday at 11:30,
but I've set aside tomorrow for packing, and I have to leave the house early Thursday morning, so.)
See you guys in America~
