Well this past weekend was fun. Went to my very first convention, Acen. Aside from the ridiculous amount of time spent waiting in line, it was overall pretty neat. I went to a panel discussion on how to break into the video game industry hosted by real artists employed by video game companies. Aww sad you can't go. Well if it's a hassle to get stuff to akutenshi7 then I might just plan on going to the one in August. I'd like to go then anyway.

Yeah, it kind of makes the whole thing worth it. Hey mom it wasn't a waste to go! I can't have fun while I look for a career.

The con was okay, but the company was fantastic. ^-^ So glad you could come! And you looked so darn cute dressed up.

Congrats on the monies and bummer about missing the gem and jewelry show. =( We all have to get together and do stuffs! Soon!

Way to go getting a job! I know it's not your dream career, but it sounds like it'll be kinda fun, and it's very nice to have money coming in. I am sorry that you won't be coming up for the gem and jewelry show, but I will be crossing my fingers BIG time that you can join us for Comic Con. Please? Let me know soon!

And I'll second Aku that you looked totally adorable, and that it was wonderful having the two of you join us. You're in for next year, right? Right?

Here's hoping I can go to Comic Con. I'm glad I got to go to Acen before it though so I kind of know what to expect. I definitely want to go next year. Pre-ordering badges is the way to go, I think. Got a costume theme in mind? It's way fun to dress up! Especially as part of a group.
