That movie made me sad. I was dissatisfied with the way the series ended, and then the movie happened and Ed was still on the wrong side of the gate. :( Alchemy-less and Roy-less!* even though he did have Al back. But still...Alfons... :( I was v. upset over him too, even though he was only in the movie. :(
*Though really, I didn't ship them together until after watching Brotherhood, and only then after reading really convincing fanfic. Cause Brotherhood made me LOVE Roy, whereas in the first anime I wasn't much of a fan of him. He just...has so much more depth in Brotherhood and much less of the egotistical jerk thing. (More serious rather than silly.)
