Akume's Birthday/Christmas/Holiday Wishlist for 2011
Once again snagged the same meme as the base for my wish list for this year. And posting it now, in preparation for my birthday and Christmas. 'Cause it's just easier that way.
The Birthday/Christmas/Holiday Wishlist
Step One
Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a SGA/Ghost Hunters icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
Surf around your friends-list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf-to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not-it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

2. A driver's license.
3. A car.
4. A PS2. (Namely because all my games are Playstation or PS2.) - (MY BROTHER IS AWESOME. ♥)
5. An electric blanket or large, thick comforter - (MY SHI-CHAN IS AWESOME. ♥)
6. Verizon Wireless Pre-paid phone cards
7. Gift cards for Starbucks, Barnes&Noble, Target, or Wal-Mart
8. Sibling Fluff and/or Hurt/Comfort fics for:
12. Movies/Box Sets for:
14. The second and third books in The Enduring Flame Trilogy, by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory (The Phoenix Endangered, The Phoenix Transformed)
15. A Wii Fit.
16. Harvest Moon: Animal Parade or Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility for the Wii
17. The Power Rangers: Super Legends video game for PS2
18. Jewelry (Unless I've specifically requested something, I prefer gift cards for places like Claire's or Icing.)
19. Flowers, cut or potted. My favorites are white roses and white daisies, but just about anything pretty will make me happy.
20. Candles. Tapirs in green, red, blue, yellow, and/or white, and tea lights in any color.
21. Pocky. As in the chocolate-covered biscuits. I like all the flavors I've tried, but my particular favorites are chocolate, white chocolate, and strawberry.
