I have Paint Shop Pro 8 installed on my laptop. It's a good program; I've used it for years. Point of fact I tried to install ... I think it was X3? And couldn't even get it to install properly. So I gave up on it and went back to my trusty PSP8

If you have the original disk I'd suggest uninstalling it and reinstalling it. But I have Pro X3 on my computer now. I think there was Paintshop 8 on my last one though.

There's probably a line you can call and talk to someone about it. Get a person on the phone and you'd have a better chance of getting a good answer.

Or! What you probably could do that might fix it is use one of the restore points on your computer to go back to a time when the bar wasn't gone. That might work.
