October Writing Challenges
Choose either or both of these topics and write a fic during the month of October. There is no word length requirement, but please remember that we are an all-ages community, so keep the rating between G and PG-13. Other guidelines for posting fic can be found on the community info page.
CHALLENGE TOPIC #1
Theme: Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps
Instructions: Write a spooky scene. It can be any genre, include humor or romance, be a parody or played straight, but something about it must be spooky. Also, one character must be in a costume; this character cannot be Sakura.
CHALLENGE TOPIC #2
Theme: Unfinished Fic Graveyard
Instructions: Sometimes you start a fic and realize it doesn't work, or you lose inspiration, or for whatever reason, it just doesn't get finished. Dig it out of your files and finish it.
Alternate Instructions: If you still can't get one of those old ones finished, then write about a visit to a grave.
