Anyways from the time i got "sidetracked" from my post-before-last (since my last was just a lame attempt at making this appear updated) till now i could probably think of a thousand different things that have gone on since that could potentially be worth reading about, if anyone actually reads this trash anyway lol... /doubt. so since i'm not about to slave over my keyboard for hours spewing pages and pages of "Stuff" i'll just list the Highlights.

yup, no lies! El'nache or whatever the hell his name was, got fucking served today/last night/this morning (whatever okay we know i'm not the greatest judge of time), with a side order of gay sauce. (more on gay sauce later) by yours truely. and of course with a little help from my ZM PPT! shortley after i joined JE a long time ago (or at least it feels that way) i believe after a kirin run, a few us decided to go kill some of the Arc Angels. Edi had already done all of them... well he's pwnd Divine Might so it didnt really matter since he got all the shards from that. i had killed the galka and the taru but those who joined us hadnt did them all or w/e so since i had so much fun doing the first two i had no problem helping out and doing them all again ^^ they really are fun to do and the cutscenes alone make everything worth it! so thus began our Zilart Mission Perma Party! (actually it should be like called our post-sky ZM PPT but w/e lol ^^) Consisting of *drumroll*..........:
Tsuki (WHM)(me! duh!)
Edimir (uber RDM playing with bows (E-bow o.O) and guns (RNG) also my Edichu <3 *muahs* much love ^^)
Darkgohan (one of my favorite, (mega boss) PLD and also a (long time) (friend) ^^)
Iban (RDM used to give flowers to all the girls in his xp pts, including me and that was when we were Lv30 on our mains ^^ so we go way back)
Shadowsyn (Incredibly Tough DRK also a (long time) (friend) ^^)
Kayoko (BLM remained a member for only the AA fights)
Hanz (Impossible to Gauge BLM)
if i recall correctly we breezed through 4 of the AA's that first night we teamed up. the four being TT, GK, MR, and HM. although i do recall us wiping to the galka and maybe... TT but i cant quite remember maybe if anyone reads this from my group they'll correct me if i'm wrong ^^. i think GK wipe was just bad strategy and if there was a TT wipe it was because of the aoe petrify and that would be my fault for being too close >.>;; but we all sucked it up and ate our raise1's and pressed on ^^, we rock. 4 down one to go and let me tell ya, what a BITCH.
AA EV is undoubtedly the hardest of them all and i'm not fucking shitting you she is HARD. being PLD and WHM she's got access to both Benediction and Invincible and i dont mean either or, she uses them both ><. but her two hour(s) arent even what makes this battle so fucked up... its the fact that she uses 3 TP moves one being spirits within... that alone coupled with the fact that she has INSANE HP is basically instant death to her target if she does it early on in the battle or if she uses it after she benedictions. another tp move she uses is called Dominican slash or something or other and i think it stuns you but it also does something very nasty which we never expected or prepared for. it DISPELS. i think it only dispels one or two buffs per use but she uses it ALOT i think it may actually just be a special ability rather then tp move but it sucks so bad because we didnt realized what it was doing to us untill we wiped and came to the shocking conclusion: none of us had RERAISE anymore -.-. The last move she does is aoe silence and bind, which in itself is pretty bad considering you're trying to kite her.
After we died and had no reraise *luckily* a whm in our ls (Diddlyd) was xping in sky at the time and he was kind enough to communicate to his (japanese) party that he was taking a break to raise us ^^ <3 Didd. we ended up trying her again that night this time keeping barspells up as placeholders for her to dispel but we were unlucky and wiped again. thankfully my reraise didnt get dispelled and we all got raised and called it a night. we returned the next weekend however with only one goal in our minds, we were going to win and we werent settling for anything less, and we werent changing our party members to achieve it. we knew our party setup wasnt ideal for this fight but we didnt care, we had to work together with what we had, we lost alot of experience points and spent alot of money doing it but we fucking ate our reraise scrolls and got up when she knocked us down, all the while knowing we had dienamis to look forward to the next day -.-. thankfully our resilliace paid off and we would not be dissapointed that night, we all got d2's instead of homepoints with the shard of envy in our key items and big plans for the kid ^^.
When we teamed up to do the kid, (i'm just going to refer to this ZM as "The kid") the first time, our party was the same as the AA. the run to the Celestial Nexus was rocky at first we ended up having to wait by earth door because someone had closed it on us -.-. Edi went to open it and while he was gone we got aggro by some weapons and caught a link, while this was happing the door opend and Edi headed back, me DG and Kayoko ended up eating dirt while Edi made it back assisted in killing the last weapon. i reraised/raised and we proceeded to head to the nexus. however on the way my noob self aggroed a detector ; ; luckily i wasnt alone when it happend, Edi shadowbound it and then made quick work of it ^^ god i would be such a better whm if i had faster reflexes like he does ; ; /jealous. shortly after we safely arrived at our destination yay ^^. little did we know our earlier deaths would just be the first of many that night :(.
i'm not going to get in detail about the kid as i have with AA EV because i think this battle is one of the most challenging and rewarding accomplishments any group can do in FFXI. i will say that you can enter the battle thinking your prepared for whatever he has to throw at you and things can turn ugly in seconds. we, like most who go into this fight, had read all the guides and possible strategies for beating this brat but i can honestly tell you there is no concrete strategy the guarantees you a win on this. basically, the BC we entered, it was not the same kid the guides went on about. we had to come up with our own thing and i think thats what every group needs to do and that in itself is rewarding. that night we tried him 4 times came close once but as the celestial nexus is so impossible to get to, and i'd used up reraise scrolls, if i died in the bc i had to stay dead or else we would all be homepointing ; ;. to sit and watch your friends die knowing you can help them but not being able to risk getting killed again is an aweful thing for a whm to have to do ; ;. on our last attempt we went all our with 2hrs and food etc but we were unlucky :( we vowed to come back again when Edi Iban and Shadow were 75 (they were 72-73 at the time).
