(no subject)
so they just announced a date for winchestercon this year, and it is... oct 12-14. which is the same weekend (more or less) that it was last year, which is the weekend of my mom's birthday. which was ok with her last year. so how early should you mention that that fan convention you went to last year that was in nashville the weekend of oct 13, this year it's in los angeles and it's the weekend of oct 13, and you'd really like to go? (mostly bearing in mind that your mom wants to see wicked when it rolls around, as a birthday celebration kind of thing.)
note my lack of spaz. :D just... la? they couldn't pick somewhere a little closer to the middle of the country? altho i have a friend in pasadena i haven't seen in years who i might be able to actually meet up with at some point.... this is assuming i don't get grief for wanting to go, altho if last year is any indication, i won't. still - los angeles? o.O on the other hand, wrenlet won't have to drive me anywhere and listen to me freak out about how much my old school has changed....
