voting season is upon us! prepare to be pestered
today is national voter registration day for my fellow americans! are you registered to vote?

i started watching s2 of the umbrella academy and it's... a weird show. but i'm enjoying it, i think more than s1. i'm especially enjoying the handler's clothes. i'm a sucker for a 1950s circle skirt. i also took a break from trying to find italian movies with luca marinelli to watch a little chaos, in which alan rickman <3 plays louis xiv, kate winslet plays a landscape designer, and matthias schoenaerts (aka sebastien le livre, aka booker, aka uncle traitor) plays the guy who designed the gardens at versailles. alan rickman's presence makes it hard to dislike, and it was nice to see matthias play someone who isn't a dumbass. (look. i actually like booker, and i can understand why he did what he did, but let's be honest, dude's a dumbass.) overall a positive experience. and it's in english, and on netflix. :D so it was even easy to find.
wandavision trailer - this is going to be DEEPLY WEIRD and i am here for it.
an oral history of the town, ten years later. i really like this movie for itself, but i still get a huge kick out of being able to recognize a bunch of places in it. i'm always so disappointed when i watch a movie set in boston - and filmed in boston! - and i don't recognize anything.
the cutest calendar EVER - by which i mean, rescue dogs in couture hats. :D
