today on my walk i saw:
a triple-decker flying a large french flag
a jeep with a tire cover over the spare that said "you are amazing"
the requisite cute dogs
and yesterday i saw
they were in someone's tiny front yard, but i don't think the tiny front yard was producing actual produce. but aren't they cute?
and the landlady's granddaughter returned engines of this broken world (
halfshellvenus! she really liked it!) and loaned me let me in (which the movie let the right one in was based on), something called boy's life by robert mccammon who i never heard of, and house of leaves which she suggested i not read before bed. i warned her it might be a while before i get to them, because it is taking forever to read wolf hall. it's oddly slow going. still liking it, tho. can't stand anne boleyn, but i don't think she's supposed to be a sympathetic character.
