guess what season is upon us!

nanowrimo wait, that's next month.

CURLING!

:DDD

well, it would be upon us if i'd gotten to play this past sunday. the other team had to forfeit on account of two curlers couldn't come and they couldn't find subs. but this weekend! we're starting two weeks early this year, which is weird and kind of throws me off, and i'm playing vice for only the second time which makes me a little nervous, but exercise! and ice! and it gets me out of the house!

so, you know, yay. :D

quick question: what's a tube pan? how different is it from a bundt pan? (i found a tasty-sounding bread recipe to use up my four random egg yolks.)

so the blacklist came back last week, and i'm watching it thinking "i have no idea what's going on" and "did i miss last season's finale?" turns out i missed a whole bunch of episodes. >.< (why did i not watch to the end of the season? i do not know!) which, well, i only ever half knew what was going on anyway, so it's not like my confusion is new. tonight's episode seemed needlessly convoluted, but i did have a moment of "hang on, i actually know what that is!" the sea of galilee, the painting that red is after, is rembrandt's christ in the storm on the sea of galilee, which was stolen from the isabella stewart gardner museum in 1990 in what is currently the biggest unsolved art theft in history. like, $500m of unsolved art theft. none of the paintings have ever been recovered, so red offering this one to blaise is a big fucking deal. the gardner museum still has all the empty picture frames hanging up, in hopes that all the art will eventually be returned.

who else is watching the good place? have all the food puns from last week. possibly spoilery in the article, but the puns are fun. also ridiculous.

the blacklist, punny, the good place, isabella stewart gardner museum, baking, curling
