chris evans is a dork, i could eat some cheesecake

so the patriots won the super bowl and chris evans lost his shit. i only saw the national anthem ("with brotherhood and sisterhood") and the bushes being brought out onto the field (of course the elder bush got a standing ovation, i mean come on) - they were showing the game at the curling club - but now i know the pats pulled it out in the last quarter and pushed the game into overtime for the first time ever. woot. go pats. :D it's supposed to snow on their victory parade tomorrow, tho.

as an aside, chris evans is a MASSIVE DORK. but so cute.

in the continuing saga of the 3000 pages of pdf, i actually got an email today from the guy who made the request, wondering where his excel docs were. (it was forwarded to me, but still. it came from him originally.) i replied that i was still working on them, i had 3000 pages to get through and had to check everything manually, and oh yeah, i have a whole other job to do. i was diplomatic but significantly annoyed.

i did however learn that the stock ticker symbol for the cheesecake factory is "cake", and the symbol for twitter is "twtr". i think they missed a golden opportunity to be "twit" on the stock exchange. or "tweet", at least.

now that nbc is coming through, i got to watch timeless on time! wyatt did all his dumbassery last week so there was less of it on offer tonight, and i have totally lost track of the overall conspiracy-ish plot and mytharc. i liked josephine baker, tho, and hemingway who seemed less dickish than i always imagine he was in real life. the brief appearance of zelda and scott fitzgerald just made me think of the story about how f scott whined to hemingway that zelda made fun of his peen, so hemingway took him into the men's room of the bar or cafe or wherever they were, and made f scott drop his pants and then pronounced him perfectly sufficient. (i have no idea where i read that. possibly tumblr. i hope it's true, because it's a great story.) and also, jim beaver! as a suit and possibly a bad guy! very briefly, tho. and next week misha collins is guest-starring as eliot ness, which means i'll probably spend half the episode waiting for nitti to be in the car. (you all saw the untouchables, right?)

timeless is half a kripke show, so maybe we should be expecting random spn guest stars.

i watched a bunch of the super bowl ads online, and the battle of evony ad has someone who looks suspiciously like jeffrey dean morgan playing king arthur. am i just seeing things? the terrible long hair is throwing me off.

fun stuff, chris evans, new job second floor, jdm, video games, timeless, super bowl
