pretty much everything i accomplished this weekend happened today
today i:
made progress on my bigbang \o/
tried and failed to think of a title /o\
started writing the summary in my head
stocked up on passover food
including gefilte fishlets
sorted some stuff in my parents' basement
including a shit-ton of response cards for my bat mitzvah
had dinner with the father unit
watched elementary
yesterday i:
met the parental unit for breakfast/lunch (i had breakfast, they had lunch)
played a lot of solitaire on my mom's laptop
caught up on the blacklist
had a question about same, namely how can liz possibly be dead? isn't her relationship with reddington at least half the show? it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
friday i:
worked through lunch >.<
assembled a lot of certified mail
worked overtime
had sushi for dinner
mmm, sushi
today's wtf discovered in the basement was a hanukah check for $10 my grandma sent me, and which was never deposited. this is the second one i've found! also dad found my other grandma's high school senior yearbook, and i learned that after she graduated from high school she went to new york city with some friends and maybe went to business school or maybe got a job or maybe met a nice boy, but in any case eventually she went back home to buttfuck nowhere, upstate and met and married my grandpa. i wish i knew that when she was alive so i could ask her about it. i mean, it was the 20s! which was probably a great time to be young and pretty and single in new york.
