i had to remind myself today that it wasn't saturday yet
i totally forgot to be publicly thankful for things yesterday! i'm thankful i got to spend thanksgiving with people whose company i enjoy and who enjoy my company, and i'm thankful for a job that teaches me something new, and the ability to see the occasional movie and order the occasional takeout and buy comics, and a cozy apartment, and the fact that i always have another story i want to tell, and sebastian stan's fucking face face, and you. :D
also, i'm thankful that today is only friday.
speaking of movies, my sister and i saw spectre tonight and i enjoyed it, altho i think i liked skyfall better. it seemed to take a while to get where it was going - it's a long movie and definitely feels it - but it doesn't drag and i liked the ride. also, monica bellucci as a (very short-lived) love interest. the little romance side plot was super predictable and boring, altho it's a bond movie, you need bond girls. and i did like madeleine. i missed judi dench's m. q is adorable, but i don't think that counts as a spoiler. and there were a couple of really gorgeous cars.
i was totally expecting a cacw trailer, which of course we didn't get, but we did get the force awakens (i might have squeed), the revenant, at the end of the world, a stupid looking comedy with kevin hart and ice cube, and oscar bait with will smith. (concussion? it screams "oscar nomination!" but at the same time it's probably a good movie.)
i had leftover turkey and yam and mashed potatoes for breakfast and did not get dressed until 2:30. it was kinda nice.
sir david attenborough narrates the video for adele's hello as if it were a nature documentary. really cute.
neil degrasse tyson gives the sex talk, by which i mean the talk about sex in space. apparently you need strapssss.
last week there was an earthquake in oklahoma that startled a flock of birds that subsequently showed up on the national weather service radar. that's a lot of birds.
