new furniture is so exciting
houston, we have couch!
it might be slightly more orange than in the picture, but the sun was out so it's a little backlit.
i'm very excited. it's so firm! and i can lie down on it! and it has feet! (i wanted feet.) and it's orange! the sushi pillow doesn't totally match, and i have a frank lloyd wright throw that doesn't match at all, which is a TOTAL bummer, but whatever, i have a new couch. :D
i still have to move some furniture around, and now i need a coffee table, but the first i'm going to do tomorrow (someone has to help me move the tv) and the second can wait. and now i'm eating dinner and watching pacific rim and sitting on the floor because a. i haven't moved the tv yet so i'd be watching it sideways, but most importantly, b. this way i won't get lo mein on my nice new couch.

last night after work i met beckaandzac who's in town to see one direction - she was with some of her fellow 1d fangirls but she and i just chatted among ourselves. it was really nice. then she and her friends went off to meet more fangirls and have dinner, and i went home to, uh, move stuff around and sweep my living room floor about twelve times. >.<
the fifty states turned into food puns - some of them kind of miss (west virgingerbread man? south dacocoa puffs? ohioatmeal raisin?) but then you have, like, swissconsin and piedaho and kenturkey and cransas. and mashedachusetts.
