i saw a guy on the bus this morning with a shield messenger bag. i did not whisper "hail hydra" when he sat next to me. i probably could have, but i just don't want to talk to anyone in the morning.
i've given slightly more thought to the potential nanonovel, basically trying to work out whether or not i want it to be urban fantasy(ish) after all, and if i do what makes it so, and that the tattoo artist likes to bake and garden in her spare time. and she's currently really into watercolors. and that's kind of it. eventually i might have to think of stuff that actually happens.

falcons get their own passports. apparently falcon theft is a big deal, so this is a way to protect them from being stolen and taken out of the country. i gotta wonder how they sign their passports, tho. i mean, it's not like falcons have fingers with which to hold a pen.
