i finally watched hannibal from last week, and it actually made sense! well, aside from ( one thing )

outer space, hannibal, killjoys, vintage fashion, geekery, historical record, a++ parenting

At least it was one of the more riveting episodes in this trainwreck of a season. But yeah, really? The last five minutes were SO BRILLIANT. I want that to be the end of this show.

it would be a great cliffhanger ending for the season, but then there would be all this wailing and moaning and gnashing of teeth because it would be the end of the series and that's a terrible place to stop. but yeah, the last few minutes were EXCELLENT. (partly because they made actual sense and the scene felt like part of a tv show rather than a few surreal minutes in an esoteric art-house movie.)

i never heard of charivari. how cool! victorians really knew how to decorate.
