today is my sister's birthday.
everybody: happy birthday!
dancing boys: *high kick*
so tonight the family unit went out for dinner to a brazilian steakhouse and i put so much meat in my mouth, seriously. also a lot of caramelized banana. and a couple of cheese puff type tiny-muffin-shaped rolls. (SO GOOD AND FLUFFY.) and some salad, because i needed to eat something green. i'm a little full. last night my sister and i were theoretically going to see age of ultron but she had to work all day and none of the movie times were right, so i just went over to her house and ordered chinese food and we chatted for a while. the fact that i've already seen it makes me very zen about seeing it again. and yesterday i took the day off to hang out with
tamalinn, which involved trying and failing to buy my sister a birthday present (it was slightly more money than anyone was expecting), shopping for clothes, and, er, smelling the candle
that smells like chris evans. (also eating lunch which as a bonus included me dripping gyro juice all over my jeans - AND MY FEET - but whatever. we smelled chris evans by proxy. he smelled nice.) also we walked around a lot because it was a lovely day, cooler than it is in la and warmer than it's been in boston.
thursday was a day. i had to work. it was mostly boring.
ireland has now become the first country to legalize same-sex marriage by popular vote. (landslide vote, even.) go ireland. yesterday i read about
people going home just so they could vote yes and may or may not have teared up slightly.
