did some laundry, shoveled some snow, as per usual

so it stopped snowing last night, altho according to my sister it snowed some again this morning. it was light and fluffy and really pretty, especially after the sun came out, and aside from the wind, it was a lot less blizzardy than i was given to expect. altho i don't know what it was like along the coast, or anywhere that wasn't, like, right

OH MY GOD. all the happy little trees are buried in snowdrifts!

theoretically i can get to work - i mean, there's a bus that goes to the t station that will actually take me into the city - but a. it's going to be slow in the office, and b. it's probably going to take forever to get there. but i don't always love working from home. and i'm pretty sure i'm going to fee like a giant slack-ass if i can get to work and don't go. argh. why can't they just close the office?
