did some laundry, shoveled some snow, as per usual
so it stopped snowing last night, altho according to my sister it snowed some again this morning. it was light and fluffy and really pretty, especially after the sun came out, and aside from the wind, it was a lot less blizzardy than i was given to expect. altho i don't know what it was like along the coast, or anywhere that wasn't, like, right in front of my house. it took me way too long to get dressed and go out to shovel, tho.

how far off the ground is the average street sign?
the curb side of my car. can't get to it, can't clear it.
an hour and a half later.... it's not totally free, but close enough.
after i was done (more or less) i went to the cvs down the street for a. bootlaces, and b. discount valentine's day chocolate. :D (i broke a lace on my boots. >.< fortunately i have a spare pair of boots-what-are-appropriate-for-snow.) fail on the bootlaces, but i got a little russell stover sampler, so yay. if nothing else, i have chocolate. and ice cream. and i got blueberries at the grocery store yesterday so i can bake muffins. mmm, muffins.

apparently jim beaver and jensen ackles shared screentime before spn - in 1997. jensen doesn't have any lines, but look at that babyface!
should i work from home tomorrow? buses are on a saturday schedule on account of it's president's day, and the subway is full of travel alerts. so getting there will be a giant pain in the ass. if i wasn't supposed to be sitting at the fucking reception desk this would be a really easy question to answer.
