so today marvel announced their phase 3 movies, and thor 3 is subtitled ragnarok, which i assume means all hell breaks loose and loki is responsible. i am very excited. i'm all over thor and loki's relationship, and anything that throws them together is good by me. add jane doing science! and i'm a happy camper. also we're getting solo movies

I don't think we're ever getting a BW solo film. They're just going to keep exploring her character in the other films.

which is so frustrating! altho i note hawkeye doesn't rate a solo movie either.... but still! natasha can totally carry her own film, and we all know scarlett johansson is up to it. it doesn't seem fair.

What's not fair about it? She's had all kinds of screen time in Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Cap 2, AND, from everything Feige said, Age of Ultron. I mean, I love Natasha to death, but I'm all for exploring the new characters at this point.

i want her to star in her own movie, rather than be in someone else's. (even tho she was a big part of cap 2.) but mostly i'm super curious about her backstory.

I want Steve to be the goddamn focus of HIS own movies, but I'm still getting Tony in Cap3, so we all have to make sacrifices for our faves. :D

And apparently Nat's backstory gets further explored in Age of Ultron, so I'm guessing you'll get your wish. Although I don't think it'll completely follow the comics, given how they changed her age and her connection to Bucky.

if we get some nat backstory in aou i'll be really happy. (and hopefully satisfied.) i'm guessing that's what the ballerinas in the trailer are supposed to imply. not that i've been picturing scarlett johansson in a leotard and toe shoes or anything.... ahem.

point! and i totally agree with you. tony got three movies of his own. he doesn't need to horn in on steve's.

I'm holding out hope that the Tony/Steve conflict in Cap3 will be about Bucky, because that's the ONLY answer I will accept.
