in case you, like me, are a little overloaded from all the horrible news (especially since some of it is pretty much the same horrible that it's been for a week - i mean, it isn't even a new horrible), allow me to share some totally adorable als ice bucket challenges:

this is what i did today - watched a lot of cnn and a lot of people getting cold and wet for charity. also admired some lovely writing studios (such fancy writing shacks!) and a bunch of dog paddlers at a doggy day care. arf. :D
