Speaking of comics, I was happy to get the Hawkeye compilation 1-11 at Books a Million on a very nice discount.

I am behind in comics, only because I have a terrible addiction to Bucky stories on AO3. :P I'm Liss, and I'm a Buckyholic.

yay hawkeye! just in time for it to end! (two more issues and then matt fraction's done with it. *sigh* )

buckyholics everywhere: hi liss!

Not sure about the relative darkness of sides... :)

Before Bucky, there was Loki.
Before Loki, there was John and Sherlock.
Before that, my complete adoration of Nine/Rose.
Before that, Supernatural.....
skip back a ways to Krycek, my previous beautiful one armed Soviet assassin. *hearts for eyes*
um... it keeps going all the way back to the Six Million Dollar Man. :D

Anyway I will be well pleased if I can get the rest of the Hawkeye books in another volume eventually. Individual issues are freaking EXPENSIVE.

if you lived near me i would loan you my hawkeyes so you could at least catch up while you're waiting for the next trade to come out. i buy single issues mostly because i hate waiting for collections, and i like reading letter columns and author/editor notes, so there's always a pile somewhere in the house.
