today is international doughnut day. mmm, doughnuts. if you haven't yet, and you feel the urge, have a doughnut for me.
today is also the 70th anniversary of d-day. after you've enjoyed your doughnut - and seriously, if you have a doughnut you should enjoy it - take a moment to remember the nine thousand men who died on the beach.

...my mom's cellphone just butt-dialed me. or it managed to achieve sentience and has called me on its own. WEIRD. altho apparently my phone called my parents at eight this morning - and i was getting ready for work so i know it wasn't me - maybe this is just payback.

5. Something for a large fandom/pairing/character
lost and lifted up, which is sam&dean (altho not sam/dean, apologies to the wincesters in the audience) because spn is the biggest fandom i've ever written in. (i slot all the j2 rps in there too. far as i'm concerned it's all one fandom.) i hadn't written spn in five years and then petite-madame posted three pics of injured!dean on hoodie-time and a plot bunny appeared out of nowhere and attached itself to my ankle. i even had to ask for beta readers, i was so unsure what i was doing. and it's not that long a fic! but i liked it well enough when it was done.
