totally unrelated, i just read something on tumblr and LOST MY SHIT laughing
"busy season" at work, which is now, seems to be super busy for a couple hours in the morning, followed by several hours of nothing, followed by everyone needing everything done at once. (and usually after coworker d goes home. >.< ) tomorrow is theoretically the last day, which means either it will be totally nuts or the same as every other day. and then thursday is may 1, which... what? i wore my winter coat today. :| i was unimpressed.
a tiny part of my brain still seems to be writing my bigbang. well, editing, technically, but still. it's ticking away in the background! which is kind of weird, kind of expected, and kind of cool. and i kind of want to write a timestamp that has NOTHING to do with the fic as is, but which kinda makes me smile.
...there's kind of a lot of "kind of"s in that paragraph.
i was watching cm reruns before and i swear garcia texted "avengers assemble!" to tell blake that a case had come in. hee! sometimes garcia really is the fangirl among us.
those of you who still watch spn and theoretically saw it tonight - did it make the spinoff look remotely interesting?
pincushion shaped like a vintage camper - SO CUTE AND FELTY. apparently those round little campers are also called canned ham campers. i cannot get over how completely adorable that is.
the boston public library made out of lego! (the real thing was designed by the mckim of mckim, mead, and white and was the first publicly supported free city library in the country. it's pretty cool.) (the bpl is older than its building, but maybe that goes without saying.)

zombie plan charm bracelet - everything you need to survive the zombie apocalypse. switch out the can of beans for a canister of salt, the canned fruit for a piece of pie, and the assault rifle for a crossbow, and you've got a winchester charm bracelet. :D
art installation with cotton balls in cardboard boxes - weirdly hypnotic, vaguely fluffy, and just plain weird.
the same guy also did an installation with styrofoam packing peanuts blowing around behind a row of windows. i just want to jump behind the windows and flail around in the packing peanuts.
