it's olympic curling season! bear with me or not
who watched the women's slopestyle over the weekend? for those who missed it, sarka pancochova (who i think was favored to win gold?) (she's czech) fell coming off a jump, did this to her helmet, and got up and finished her run. holy carp. i also caught some of the ice dancing part of the team skate and damn, that's a pretty sport. now i'm watching men's moguls and my knees hurt in sympathy.
haven't seen any curling yet, but someone at my curling club made a schedule of when all the games are on, and what channels are broadcasting them, so hopefully i'll be able to catch some of it. it's not exactly a prime time sport, so my options are either right before i leave in the morning, or right when i get home at night. altho i assume nbc will broadcast at least some of the final match, since they seem to be showing bits of all the medal events.

now men's short track is on. aaaaaand two south koreans just wiped out. oops. and ouch.
i'm sure i have something else to talk about.... i liked jack ryan: shadow recruit on saturday - i think i liked it more than my sister did - chris pine makes a good action hero. over the weekend i managed a couple thousand words for my bigbang AND started the story i'm going to owe my writing group next week, go me.
