my writing brain has totally deserted me
happy birthdays to justhuman (gardener and fellow haven fan) and azewewish (writer and fun person to show around boston). cake for all! and also confetti! you should both come back to vist. :D
dancing boys: *two-step*
i have a story due for writing group on wednesday and i have no idea what to write. >.< it's the holiday project, which means everyone gets the same prompts and the deadline is absolute. i started two different stories, hated the first one, and didn't think the second one really lends itself well to any of the prompts i'm supposed to include. so i need a third idea. and i have a third idea! i just have to write it. and figure out how to include any of the stuff i need in it. maybe tomorrow will be dead at work and i'll get over my hangup about writing in my cube.
(the second idea has a tiny wee sex scene. it's *gasp* het. O.O )
why is this so hard?? and it needs to be done by wednesday!
on the plus side, tonight was the last game of the first half of the curling season, and my team actually won! by kind of a lot! also by kind of a fluke, but whatever, we won. hopefully i won't suck so much in the second half.
this greyhound is really digging the snow. seriously, that is an excited dog.
