i got out of work at three today and saw a lara croft and a link (from legend of zelda) (or is that obvious?) in the t station, and wondered if there was a con or something this weekend. i don't generally see cosplayers on fridays in places that aren't harvard square. they were cute, tho.

C - Chore you hate: dusting. also sweeping. also cleaning the tub.
D - Dog's name: i don't have a dog, but when i was growing up we had a dalmatian named max and then a chocolate lab named rc. (casey, the spaz, came after i moved to boston. my mom wanted to get the dog a puppy.)
E - Essential start to your day item(s): juice, a washcloth with which to wash my face
F - Favorite color: red
G - Gold or Silver: silver
H - Height: 5'4"
I - Instruments you play: none, altho i used to be able to play the piano

P - Pet Peeves: sidewalk sweepers, people who pull in front of you and then slow down, people who stand just inside the door of the bus or the subway and refuse to move when there are still a bunch of people waiting to get on or off, being told the plan for a social activity and then being asked "is this ok?" when it doesn't actually matter what you think, and the misuse of apostrophes.

Z - Zoo favorite: the last time i was at a zoo i spent a ridiculous amount of time stalking the quail because they were so cute, but they don't count as zoo animals to me, so i'll go with the javelina, because a. i'd never seen one before, b. from the side they're pretty substantial, and c. when they turn to face you they turn into sticks with ears and snouts. and i could sing the hallelujah chorus at them - "JAA-VELINA!" they were unimpressed.
