i'm going on an adventure!

on saturday my sister and i finally got around to seeing the hobbit and i agree with the people who said it was too long, altho i also really, really enjoyed it and would see it again. martin freeman is adorable. afterwards we got bbq - me and my sister, not me and martin freeman - and went back to my house to watch the extended version of the fellowship of the ring. sunday we went skiing, and the weather was pretty fabulous (altho intermittently overcast) and the mountain wasn't crowded and much fun was had, altho there could've been more snow. also i fell over - i was coming out of a turn and not going that fast and just... fell sideways. and slid. and came to a stop right by this girl who must've asked me three times if i was ok, even tho i kept saying yes, i was fine. i mean, i was lying there giggling. and then i drove us back to my house and we ordered chinese and watched the extended version of the two towers. (it was totally a tolkien weekend.) and monday i went back to work! because i have a job! which is still exciting!

i'm behind enough on lj that i just skipped a couple days, and i'm behind on my bigbang which i can't skip because, you know, deadline.

i have discovered something about my job i don't like! it's really quiet there later in the day and i miss listening to the radio, so i found an online station and work internet BLOCKS THE SITE. *sigh*
