bleh, i say, bleh
o my flist, i am so close to throwing in the towel on my nanonovel, you don't even know. i need 6000 words by the end of wednesday, but i have writing group on wednesday and won't get home until late and am not expecting to get much done. so to be safe i need 6000 words by the end of tomorrow. i don't have a lot of faith in my ability to get it done but man, i do not want to get this close and fail. i don't even know why it's so difficult to concentrate on.
hmph.
i got to temporarily sub in for the other team during curling last night - they only had two people when it was time to start, because their skip was running late, so i played with them until the skip showed up and i could go back to my own team again. (i played for both teams. heh.) and then we won, which was nice.
enjoyed leverage last night, altho it seemed like a very hardison&eliot-heavy episode, with very little sophie and nate. which i don't exactly dislike, but it felt kind of unbalanced.
also mostly enjoyed hell on wheels, and i have a question: namely, where are the surveyor's maps? did bohannon take them before he dropped lily off? did he give them to the native american guy who found her? i don't remember! also, was the gunpowder exploding sabotage or carelessness? i'm going with carelessness, but i'd buy sabotage too.
