oh my flist, i walked so much today i think i gave myself a blister on the bottom of my heel. >.< possibly i need to wear better walking shoes than my chucks.... but it was a gorgeous day and i needed the exercise after all the pie i ate last night (there were six pies, plus a birthday cake, plus mini whoopie pies, plus chocolate chip cookies, plus fruit, plus ice cream) and i bought some random cute things and also comic books, so it's not like i'm complaining.

my pumpkin pie yesterday was tasty and pumpkiny, and there was some left over so i brought it home and ate it for breakfast. :D

i managed a day's worth of words on the nanonovel last night but i'm still a day behind (wednesday was kind of a wash) but there's a local write-in tonight and either i'll go to it or i'll find a nice coffeeshop (there's now one down the street from me, much closer than the diesel and much less crowded, plus just about every table has an electrical socket which is nice because my laptop battery doesn't hold a charge), because i have to leave the house to get anything done. sad but true.

(raiders of the lost ark is on tv right now, and it won't be over by six, so it might be coffeeshop for me after all. i'm ok with this.)

("who knows? in a thousand years even you may be worth something." also "we have top men working on it now." "who?" "top. men." my love for this movie cannot be textually rendered.)

i had an entirely random plot bunny yesterday, altho it might be more of a plot scenelet, and it involves a late-night dj and the guy who listens to him. i'm kind of stuck on what the listener is doing that he's always awake that late, tho. not studying - he's not a student, i don't think, but no clue what else he might be. overnight security guard? cabbie? late-night/early-morning delivery-truck driver? who knows. but it did prompt me to make a plot bunny icon. they're so cute and fluffy and deceptively sweet....

thanksgiving, nanowrimo, i love where i live, plot bunnies
