That Ikea table is awesome. *wants* One day, I'm going to have to find somebody to drive me up to Ikea again.

man, my love for ikea cannot be textually rendered. how far is the closest one to you?

It's more than an hour away, up 95 close to DC. And I won't drive on the highway. I've only been to Ikea twice EVER. I went to the one in Elizabeth NJ in 1994 shortly after it opened*, and then I went to the one in Northern VA a year or two ago. We're so deprived here! ;)

What annoys me is that they'll ship a lot of their furniture--charging an arm and a leg for the shipping of course. But the small things that would ship easily? Those they won't ship at all.

*I HAD TO. At the time, they had whole subway cars filled with ads that said, "COME TO IKEA ELIZABETH." How could I refuse when they told me so specifically? LOL

the world's best chocolate mint cookies! this year i might try making them with mint chips, if i can find mint chips. maybe also chocolate chips, for extra chocolate.
