now it's late and i should really go to bed even if i do have tomorrow off
hello, my flist! it feels like friday. i randomly got tomorrow off because apparently i sound just that terrible. (my voice is coming back, kind of. i feel fine! i just sound like shit.) so today feels like friday. i'm not complaining. but i'm a teeny bit confused.
i haven't really had anything to say all week except for what was required to post my bigbang, and now i am FULL OF IDEAS. like, fic! and lots of it! i actually got two wee plot bunnies from answering comments on said bigbang. O.O and there's the story of the actor and the mechanic, which i submitted the beginning of to writing group, and harley and corbin, and i had a brief idea for nanowrimo already, and there's next year's bigbang, and no doubt in a couple days i'll have ANOTHER idea. i wish i could multitask.
tomorrow's day off will be marked by writing something. and eating chinese food. because i can.
i think i want popcorn. sadly i have none.

1) What's your most favorite thing about living in Boston that's not family related?
the fact that it's a big city that feels kind of like a small city. i mean, boston proper is square-footage-wise pretty small. to get any size, you have to include all the random little towns around it and call it greater boston. also i really love the zakim bridge.
2) You finally have a sitdown with the publisher of your dreams to pitch one of your original ideas. Which one do you choose & how do you pitch it?
i honestly have no idea how to answer this question, except i would probably pitch the story of harley and corbin, the boys with the big house, because that's currently the story i most want to tell. but i'm not sure how marketable it is, or how i could sell it to a publisher, or especially which publisher i would pitch it to.
...i totally sidestepped that question, didn't i.
3) What building have you always wanted to see in person but haven't yet? (Or at all if the building's been torn down.)
the great pyramids! can i count them as one building? i think i've wanted to see them since i was ten. the only building i want to see that's been torn down is frank lloyd wright's imperial hotel in tokyo, of which nothing remains except some of the lobby which is in a museum in north japan.
4) What's the last joke you heard & did you laugh at it?
*thinks* i don't know! i was watching futurama earlier and there was a bit about fry being fully buckminstered - he was about to get run over by a geodesic dome - but i think that was more punny and less jokey. i did laugh, tho.
5) Your passport's about to expire & you can never get it renewed. Where do you go for your last trip abroad?
...i hate you. i think i would go to morocco. either that or australia, because i really really really want to climb up the bridge in sydney harbor, and i don't know of any bridges in the us where they'll let you do that.
