watching white collar from last week and y'know, the nazis didn't collect that treasure, they stole it. and all those billions of dollars of art and antiques? someone's gonna want that back, and it ain't an american museum. That was my thought too. Hopefully, show will remember that? It's exactly the kind of argument Peter would use against Neal.
when they first found all the art in the ship, peter said something (which of course i can't remember specifically >.< ) that made me think he'd realize that they couldn't keep anything - the fbi would have to ship it back to europe to all the places the nazis had stolen it from. i think the distinction was totally lost on neal, tho.
i think neal now being in possession of the loot will just distract everyone from the fact that it had all been stolen by nazis first. we'll see, i guess.
