planet earth moves slowly
after i got out of work today i found a pamphlet under my windshield wiper that said "do you know where you're going to spend eternity?" and i thought "i'm going to spend eternity in a plain pine box". and i'm ok with that.
questions for the more trivially-knowledgeable folks on the flist: first, is chris kane's sister older or younger? second, does anyone know what denomination of christian jensen's family is?

and the punchline is always the same - i'm not sure what i think about this guy - possibly because i haven't read all of his blog - but i like this entry mostly for the bit about not thinking - or being made to think - you're doing sex wrong.
green screened - how many "outdoor" shots on tv are actually green-screened? this is pretty nifty. (and y'know, if you're going to green-screen vegas and new york and who knows where else, i should not have to yell BOSTON DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THAT at my tv. i'm just sayin'.)
ewan mcgregor likes kissing boys on screen - and this is one of the reasons we like him. :D altho if you read any interviews or articles after he was in the pillow book, this shouldn't come as a surprise....
this little town museum in north carolina mounted an exhibit celebrating stock car racing's moonshine-fueled roots and if i lived anywhere near mount airy - or, ok, anywhere near north carolina - i would so have to go see it. bootleggers! stock cars! red-dirt tracks! good stuff.
what do you need? - popfiend means this literally: One of the things about this social networking thing is that we're REALLY good at the social and not so good at the networking part. We have this massive resource at hand and we rarely use it to the best of its ability. So I'm going to try and change that a little and hopefully in the spirit of DFT create a place where people can share and interact with some positive and helpful information. Or maybe just a supportive word and a smile. read the do's and don'ts, see if you can help anyone, ask for help yourself.
